Off-grid Sauna

We’ve always dreamed of owning a wood-fired sauna. Now that we have some land by the water we have the perfect opportunity to build one.

I wanted to build an authentic Finish Wood Burning Sauna by the water and have it last the test of time. I designed this to have minimal impact on the natural environment and blend into nature. The paneling is aspen int he sizeable hot room with a wood burning stove and a large window facing the lake. It also includes a modest change room for cool down and storing dry clothes and towels.
